Mardi Gras

And today on this day I find myself wondering what topic to blah blog about in my internetaholic blogging in the blogosphere bloggerworld. And as usual I find myself wondering these days, how do all of those zillions of other bloggers in the bloggerworld find topics to write about on a daily basis or as often as one blogs. That how does one find content for ones website thing. And what’s the purpose of blogging again? TO rant and ramble away, to log ones diary or share ones thoughts or something. Well this web 2.0 user social media generated content thing still amazes me even to this day. And so the random thought for the day that comes to mind for this blog is that purple Mardi Gras cup I happen to be looking at at the moment. What can I say and write about Mardi Gras? Didn’t the party week just pass with the New Years and isn’t Mardi Gras approaching next month in February or something. More parties? And what does the word Mardi Gras mean anyway. The words sounds French maybe, like Gras grand, more of something. I wonder what that Internet bible dictionary Wikipedia would have to say about this word and holiday. And so this purple cup has written all over it, “Happy Mardi Gras” with images and drawings of clowns, pianos, music symbols, floats, confetti, revelers at a parade grand procession, that tragedy and comedy mask, horns, decks of cards, those Mardi Gras coins, the future dates of Mardi Gras all the way up until 2010 and just one big party scene. I guess these are some of the images of the Mardi Gras. And those Mardi Gras Marching bands from Louisiana rock.

My Other Blog

For some reason, the idea to start another blog came to mind earlier this week. Maybe it could have something to do with the idea that I am attempting to blah blog my way to riches, I am not sure. And so I am attempting to put one of those domain names that I have had for seemingly forever to use. And my other blog seems as if it wants to give me twice as much work now in the how to maintain and manage your own blogs blogosphere. Will anyone even read it? How does one maintain a blog audience? Shouldn’t I have figured that out already from this blog? And this other blog seems as if it is turning out to be a replica of this blog. And I have always wondered, how do those other bloggers have tens, hundreds and thousands of other blogs that they maintain, as I can barely handle one. And so begins the start of another blog in the bloggerworld. Have a great blogging day.

This Blog

And so in my attempt to market this blog and blah blog my way to riches in the pay you to post and blog and make millions and billions online in the bloggerland blogosphere, someone left a comment on my “Sell This Product” posting yesterday that went like, “yer blog sucks and you are an adwhore.”. Now that leads me to wondering, what is an ad whore? Is that the same as a marketing whore. Does that Internet bible dictionary Wikipedia have a definition for that. Is that someone who is a whore for marketing, as the word sounds self explanatory. And I do seem to find myself lost in Bloggerland these days, as I am forever trying to figure out how to get rich Internet quick without ever having to leave home. And I do long for that Google page ranking of a thousand so much that I would like to repost this Ode To Blogging. And I am forever reading about that newly learned Internet marketing term “SEO”, as in optimize this site for those search engines; so much that I find myself cramming this site with every noun, verb, and place I can think of. And I am still forever trying to figure out ways to market, promote and build links for that link popularity thing for this blog to reach a bazillion readers a day. And I don’t think I will be getting rich Internet quick anytime soon with my one blog, as I still find myself blogging for pennies a day. And short of winning the lottery, I realize I cannot quit my day job anytime soon. And I have posted on every forum and quorum I can think of trying to advertise this blog. And short of walking around with a billboard attached too myself and a bullhorn in my hand yelling out my websites name, I am running out of ideas on how to market this blog. Maybe I should try skywriting in the sky with an airplane, or maybe I should read that 27 + 1 Tips for Building and Maintaining a Blog Audience again, or look for some more of those endless how to make millions online blogs, tutorials and manuals to read now. And what does the term “riches” mean anyway? Silver, gold and treasures, do you trust in them. And what if they perish. What profit do you have if you gain the whole world and lose your own soul. That could be a whole another blog posting. And what about that verse; “For the love of money is the root of all evil: while some have coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows”. And how do bloggers get thousands and millions and billions of page views a day? I still have yet to figure that one out. Is there a magic trick to all of this? This blogging in a web 2.0 world, user generated content thing has got me going. Have a great day

Content For This Site

And so I came across this interesting sentence in one of the comments on my MyBlogLog page the other day. “Need some “Filler” for your site when you have nothing to write about?…” And just those few words alone were enough to catch my eye and get me to reading the rest of that blog comment. Am I not alone in the writers blah blog arena in not having anything to write about and thinking up all sorts of things to write about? I sometimes find myself trying to think up enough thoughts to write about to where I find myself reciting the words of dictionaries and encyclopedias over and over and posting the same post over and over. I thought about copying other websites content but I do not think that is ethical, is it? This MyBlogLog comment goes on to say “How about a Free Online Game or Games for your visitors to play?… Send me a Private Message and I will give you all the info on how to add one of our games to your website….” Oh, games? I am not sure about adding lots of games to this blog. Does this website offer written content, as I am already trying to fill up this website with as many games, videos, poems, saying, cartoons, puzzles and anything else I can think of. Is there hope for writers blah bloggers block in the web 2.0 social media internet blogosphere?

Blog World Expo

Hey Bloggers, I’ve been receiving these email announcements about a big blogging event. This must be an interesting blogging conference taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s the first conference and tradeshow of this kind to ever take place, now that’s interesting. The Blog World Expo , November 8-9, 2007 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. A blog world and new media expo. A blogger convention. How exciting! I wonder who are the keynote speakers and who will be there in the bloggerworld and who will be presenting and what could possibly be on the program schedule of events taking place and who and what are the name and subjects of the panels, seminars and presentations. Will there be a how to blog to riches display, or a how to get a Google page rank of 100 overnight table set up there? Will someone be offering how to distress from your blogaholic addiction massages also. And will everyone be walking around with a laptop to blog about this conference every nanosecond as it is taking place. If you happen to be in Vegas, this event looks worth checking out. It sounds so interesting that I want to visit their website to read about it now. And Vegas rocks. There is no place like Vegas.

Exchange My Link

And so I have spent the past couple of days trying to do link building for this blog in an attempt to blog to a Google page ranking of 100. And again I have been thinking of all sort of ways to build links for this page and improve this blogs search engine ranking because as I have learned from the endless amount of other blogs and online tutorials that everything is all about that SEO and linkbuilding thing and the ways to improve ones SEO are endless. And so for the past couple of days I have started out again with that blog roll thing, which by the way, if anyone happens to be reading this blog entry, I have added a blogroll to this page and I am looking for link exchanges if anyone is interested. And so that is a message I have found myself posting in forums this week along with the register your site with every single blog directory on planet earth and there seems to be millions of them out there in the blogosphere. And so I spent all day searching “Add url” to submit this site to a few blog directories and I even ran into a few of those do it yourself submit your site to 30 different search engine programs for free and then I thought, why pay those paid blog submission companies to submit your site when you can do it yourself for free. Oh, that’s only if you have a lot of time on your hands because this task can take days, weeks, and seemingly years. And so I have been trying to submit this site to everywhere that pops up that will accept it. Is this one of those 50-signs-youre-blogaholic?

Blog about this blog

Hey Bloggers, as I sit here blah blogging away, I am finding myself writing more and more in an attempt to blog to riches and I am also finding myself running out of things to blah blah blog about again in the blogosphere of a zillion blogs. Maybe it’s some sort of writers block, or blogger burnout or something. What are bloggers writing about these days and what do bloggers do when they run out of things to blog about? Or does that ever happen. And what happens if ones stops blogging altogether? Is there life after blogging? Is there life after the Internet? As there was life before the Internet was invented, wasn’t there? And what’s the purpose of blogging again? Is it to ramble and rant to an online diary or journal or something. I wonder if at some point I may start writing about every word in the dictionary just to have something to blog about. This blogging whatever random thoughts that come to mind in a web 2.0 social media networking technology thing world has got me going.
