The Learning Annex Internet Expo Again

And according to that Gregorian calendar, it is a Sunday on this day again, that day of rest, the Sabbath. Or is that Saturday. And yet I find myself blaghing away for some reason. And so I found myself at that Learning Annex Internet Expo on this day with one of those free full day passes , at that Marriott Marquis hotel near Times Square in that City of New York, that I event that I blah blogged about a few days ago on this blog. And so I went to that expo in an attempt to network and learn a class my way to internet riches and also to network with other bloggers or would be bloggers in an attempt to leave those No Police State Girl business cards everywhere and to everyone in an attempt to get rich internet quick. Though with the lack of tables or booths placed anywhere for this purpose, instead I found myself leaving and placing those business cards on hallway floors, bathroom floors, elevator floors, water cooler tables, bathroom sinks and in bathroom stalls etc; in hopes to network and interact with other attendees at this expo other than the presenters, speakers and organizers at this event. And for who this advertising and marketing event is for, I am not exactly sure. And so that catalogue for this event to be found on a table there and the cover of that program reads something like:
The Learnng Annex Internet Expo. America’s Largets How to Make Money Expo. with Twitter Co-Creator, Dom Sagolla (wow!), Get 28 million viewers, Dmitry Shapiro, Huffington Post, Jonah Peretti, Sell anything with video, Mike Koenigs, Six figure blogging, Lockhart Steele (now that one sounds interesting I think…), Start A T-shirt Line, Buy, sell and profit on eBay, Get a number one Google reading, Andrew Hazen, Make money with iPhone Apps, Dana Farbo, Get Free advertising, Fabrice Grinda (And if it’s free, then its for me, maybe.), Publish your ebook, Susan Danziger, Money for your idea, Jay Levy, Internet Businesses for women, Karla Lightfoot, Start a seven figure internet business, Nate Richardson (Seven figures you say?), Get free publicity, Steve Krakauer, Sell your content, Murray Hidary, Blog, podcast and grow rich (wow again!), Scott Paton, Attract anything with the secret, David Schirmer and Raise money for any business, Morgan Howard. And so the inside of this program goes on to mention Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and just about all things social media user generated content everything and lots of other things for the internet and beyond and the entrepreneur in one. Have a great attempt to get rich internet quick and more day.

Suzy’s Song

Hey Bloggers, Suzy Sellout has got a song. And it’s called Suzy Sellouts songs that can be found on her MySpace page and beyond. And I know Suzy Sellouts has got a song because that email I read from her says so. And if I can blah blog that if I had one of those chances to sellout for a song, I probably would want to be one of those sellouts also, maybe. And Suzy Sellout is in a band, and they are Kathrine Becker, Spencer Cohen, Dan Davine, Chris Wengert, Lindsay Haughton, Chris Bonner and Pete O’Connell. And if you happen to be looking to hear Suzy’s songs, you can find them on her sellout CD that rocks. And in other thoughts, what the heck are those glaring neon light blaring television screen like advertisements on the side of those city buses to be found in that city of New York that seems to have appeared out of nowhere that one can see from seemingly a mile away they are so blue hue light bright. Is this the MTA NYC Transit everything in that city of New York can be a walking, riding, going my way advertisement. Isn’t that a distraction for going ones way? And if the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority could plaster the sidewalks and the air with advertisements, they would probably do that too, maybe. Oh, they may already be doing that also. Have a great music, advertisement going ones way day.

Twitter

And so somehow in my blogaholicness and my attempt to blah blog my way to riches, I somehow discovered this new website where one can seemingly Twitter their way to riches. You know Twitter, that recent Internet phenomenon that seemingly every other person is using in this web 2.0 user generated content Internet world to tell the world what they are doing. Or at least to tell the internet world what you are doing. And so I found myself signing up for Twittad yesterday in hopes of being able to quit those ten full time jobs that I find myself working at sometimes. And Twittad is this website that lets you place advertising on your Twitter page. Now that’s cool or interesting, or whichever way one may see it and yet even more internet ways to internet your way to dollars to be found in the internetosphere. And whether one can actually quit their day job, who knows. And then there is Magpie or be a Magpie, another Twitter your way to dollars website that I ran across as well yesterday. Magpie is an ad network for Twitter and they can turn your tweets into bling bling, and that is interesting. Have a great Twittering day.

Why Is It

“A man wakes up after sleeping under an advertised blanker on an advertised mattress and pulls off advertised pajamas, bathes in an advertised shower, shaves with an advertised razor, brushes his teeth with advertised tooothpaste, washes with advertised soap, puts on advertised clothes, drinks a cup of advertised coffee, drives to work in an advertised car and then…refuses to advertise, believing it doesn’t pay. Later if business is poor,he advertises it for sale. Why Is It?”
Those are the above words I found written in church parish bulletin for their Easter service that I came across yesterday. Please Patronize Our Advertisers. And this advertisement was found right along with a bunch of other Christ Is Risen religious sayings, quotes and advertisements for supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, funeral homes, chapels, New York Single online dating ads, beauty salons, realtors and the like, that they had in their parish bulletin for their schedule of masses. And I thought about that Why Is It advertisement because hey, I am always looking for advertisement for this blog in an attempt to blah blog my way to riches. And why is it? And I think today is still Easter, Easter Monday in the fifty days of Easter, or is it forty. Have a great continuing Easter holiday.

Affiliate Summit

Affiliate Summit. What’s an Affiliate Summit? Again today I find myself blah blogging away on this blog in my do not get rich Internet quickless mode. And now that I have been sent to look for a sixth day job after that last Google page rank update that gave this blog a negative one hundred, I am starting to ask myself that question, “To blog, or not to blog. That is the question.” And somehow I received this email yesterday with the subject line “Lets Meet Up!”. And the email is something about the Affiliate Summit Conference and The Affiliate Marketing Conference. Are those the people and companies who’s ads for products and services I have placed all over this blog in hopes that someone will click on them and I can get rick Internet quick? And then the email went on to say, “We are well aware of the marketing plug for Las Vegas – “What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas.” But we don’t want to follow their rules. Everyone at Affiliate Summit should tell all about the great companies they met and people they want to do business with. We sure will…” So I imagine the Affiliate Summit West must be approaching soon. And it is. The Affiliate Summits of the past have taken place in London, Miami, Las Vegas and other places. And this years Affiliate Summit 2008 West will be at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, February 24-26, 2008. Speakers include: Larry Adams, Stephanie Agresta, David Baker, Ron Bechdolt, Chris Brogan, Jason Calacanis, Tim Carter, Steven Cho, John Chow, Michael Coley, Joel Comm, Haiko de Poel, Jr., John Engler, Justine Ezarik, Marty Fahncke,Linda Goodman, Jeffrey Greenbaum, Chuck Hamrick, Sam Harrelson, Eileen Harrington, John Hasson, Jason Hayden,Tris Hussey, Trevor Jezierski, Karen Jackie, Zac Johnson, Kyle Johnston, Kristopher Jones, Bennet Kelley, Mark Kirschner, Chris Kramer, Jim Kukral, Owner, Kevin Lee,Sergio Lemus, David Lewis, Graham MacRobie, William Martin-Gill, Don Mathis, Brian McCarthy, Colin McDougall, Amit Mehta, Dan Murray, James O’Brien, Heather Paulson,Kent Phillips, Lisa Picarille, Scott Polk, Durk Price, Alex Rampell, Wil Reynolds,Steven Richter, Lisa Riolo, Dana Rockel, Andy Rodriguez, Steve Rosenbaum, Melissa Salas, Steve Schaffer, Deborah Schultz, Jeremy Schultz, Anik Singal, Joshua Sloan,Kevin Smith, Jonathan Stefansky, Valerie Stevens, Jonathan Treiber, Gary Vaynerchuk, Robert Weber, Andrew Wee, David Weinrot and more, And there also seems to be booths and exhibitors and more booths and exhibitors as part of this conference. This Summit seems like it is all marketing, advertising and affiliating, all the time. And though I am not exactly sure of what the Affiliate Marketing conference is all about, it seems as if it may have something to do with the Internet, marketing, advertising, buy, sell and get rick Internet quick. And does that mean one can network and meet all the affiliate marketers they can ever meet under one roof? And whatever this conference may be all about, have a great affiliate marketing day.

Film Noir

Now that’s interesting. There is an article on the cover of this weeks Village Voice with an image of a gun titled “The Year In Bloody Good Film: Violence Is Golden”. The Village Voice and the LA Weekly did a year in film critics’ poll, and something like the top 10 notable films were all violent or something. What does that say about these days and times when the top ten films in a critics poll are all violent. And somewhere in that article they actually mentioned the phrase “Film Noir”. And I wasn’t exactly sure what the word film noir even meant until I Wikipediaed it up. And that Internet bible dictionary Wikipedia described the phrase “film noir” as a cinematic term used primarily to describe stylish Hollywood crime dramas, particularly those that emphasize moral ambiguity and sexual motivation. Hollywood’s classic film noir period is generally regarded as stretching from the early 1940s to the late 1950s and emerged in the United States during the Depression. The term film noir is French for “black film”. Well, I am not exactly sure what this all means, but I guess the term means to glorify and romanticize violence. And I do find it amazing that any publication with advertising would even mention that phrase in an article these days, that film noir glorifies violence, being that guns and the images of guns are advertised everywhere in film, television, newspapers, telescreens, music lyrics, video games, cartoons, posters, commercials, sides of buses, insides of buses, the floors and walls of every single form of transportation possible, light poles, bus stops, sidewalks, doorsteps, walls, floors, ceilings, t-shirts, clothing, the air and anywhere else on planet earth that looks marketable. It is bombarding the advertising of guns to look cool these days. For what reason could not actors and models or any other person hold an object other than a gun or a weapon to look cool. Could not everyone start posing with flowers, or sticks and stones or something to look cool in these media advertisements these days. And what about public broadcasting non commercial sponsored media. Is public, listener sponsored media an alternative to corporate sponsored media and violent content. And what is corporate sponsored media. And what about technology and violence. Are they related. And what is technology and its advancement. And then there is that fourth amendment of the the right to bear arms constitution, the right to take another life for a piece of property, a shelter over ones head that should be free, a basic necessity of life of mankind, material goods. And the whole world is paying as someone loses their life to gun violence every day as the story is told today and the headlines will read tomorrow, yesterday and thereafter with no end in sight. If only a constitution could be written to abolish guns and the images of guns from everywhere and everyone on the face of planet earth. And in any given publication of most newspapers, half of the film advertisements have images of guns in them. In any given news cast, half of the news program, programming is of crime and violence. On any given prime time television schedule, half of the television programs are of crime, violence and guns. And again, I could copy my blog posts over and over in my appeal to end gun violence. To banish guns and the images of guns from every single place and human being on the face of planet earth. Guns are the worst invention of an industry ever. It is bombarding, the advertising of people holding guns to look cool, and pointing guns at you, the viewer, as you look at the poster or printed advertising. Does not advertising and programing influence and program society and people? Does not glorifying violence influence the world. And what are those TiVo things. Do they help one to filter out offensive programming in the media. It is that vicious cycle that feeds on itself again, advertising feeds marketing, which feeds crime, which feeds the news which feeds more crime which feeds more violence which feeds more advertising which feeds more news cycle. And it is interesting to read what the origin of film noir means, that this whole film noir thing started during the depression, right along with the Satan, Santa Claus marketing of the Christmas holiday shop, buy, spend more money, go into more debt, over consumerism season. Does this glorifying of violence as if it is romantic, reflect the moral decline of the world, the collapse of society? Are wars debasing the value of human life. Is there hope for the world. Will this beast, whatever or whoever this beast this may be ever release its grip on mankind. It seems as if the Emperor is wearing no clothes in the world these days, whatever the moral of that story may mean. What was life like before the invention of guns? I am only one blogger, one voice. No one is free while others are oppressed. Is another world possible? Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

Rank This Blog?

Okay, so I find myself wondering again if I should keep singing that Ode To Blogging song as I have found myself singing so many times in the past. And I am not sure if I should continue singing it because I may be singing myself an Ode To Debt. As I was MyBlogLoging the other day, someones post caught my eye again. And this time their comment read, “Has your blog been effected by the Google page rank update?”. And so the story goes, I can no longer quit my day job as I once dreamed of and I may find myself looking for a fifth day job as a result of that Google page rank update the other day. Is this Armageddon, the end of the world. Is this the end of the web 2.0 user generated content pay you to blog blogger world, or at least the attempt to blah blog your way to riches world? Is the Internet broken now or something. Is there life thereafter the Internet, and what was life like before the invention of the Internet. I tried a couple of weeks ago to post that disclosure policy on this blog in an attempt to drive Dracula away from the door and I am not sure if that is working because now instead of that Google page rank of a thousand that I once dreamed of, this blog now has a Google page rank of negative one thousand. And should I continue to use the words “this is a sponsored post” or not, I am not sure. What do I say anymore in my attempt to blah blog my way to riches? Is this that Pluto or Saturn in action with that season of change thing again, and what kind of change is this world undergoing, if any. And what song do I sing now, as I am not so sure if I should keep singing that Ode To Blogging song I once sang before. Have a great blogging day.

An Ode To Blogging

Okay, so now I am not so sure if I want to keep singing that Ode To Blogging song anymore because maybe I may be singing my way into an ode of debt in my attempt to blah blog my way to riches. I have been singing about that Ode to blogging Google page rank thing for a while now, so much that instead of that Google page rank of a hundred that I dreamed of, I now find this blog having a Google page rank of a negative one hundred or something like that. Seems to be according to the tons of blog postings that I have read just today alone, that Google and the Google Gods may be putting everyone whose websites are attempting to advertise and link build their way to riches and search engine heaven out of a day job or something like that. And I have even placed one of those Disclosure Policies on this page in an attempt to drive Dracula away from the door. Where will I go to find that fourth day job now that this blogs page rank has decreased. An ode to blogging, I am not so sure if I want to sing that song anymore. Have a great blogging day.

Pay Per IZEA?

Hugh? Am I seeing things? There is an email sitting in my inbox with the title that reads “PayPerPost is Now IZEA”. Hugh? PayPerPost is what? Pay Per Post was or is the greatest name ever. Oh no! Will I ever be able to quit my day job now in my attempt to blah blog my way to riches. Will I have to get two day jobs now? And I have not even read the email for the title alone gets me going. The thought that Pay Per Post is now who? Does Pay Per Post mention what this newly found name is all about on their blog? As companies change their names all the times for whatever reasons. I should read their blog or that email now for further information on what this is about. Maybe this is all an illusion in the blogosphere. Or maybe I do not need to read it as they are still there blogging away as the kings, or as what I perceive as the kings of the pay per post blogging world. Or is kings a good word to use. Maybe leaders of the blogging world, or is leaders a good word to use. Maybe paid blogging companies is a better word to use. Well, whatever this newly found change of name is all about, Pay Per Post still rocks. Oh, I mean IZEA still rocks.
