And Yet Another Ode To Blogging

And it seems as if that Google page rank update wants to send me in search of a fifth full time job so much that I thought to post this post on this blog yet again in my internetaholicness.

And being that on this day seems to find itself another one of those blagh your way to the bankless days, I find myself wondering what to blah blog about, again. Simply for the sake of attempting to maintain content for this blog and my other blog whenever possible in this social media web 2.0 user generated content era. And so goes that bloggers block again to where I find myself posting this post I posted on this blog some time a while ago…..

And even when it seems as if the world is falling down all around me, I still find myself blah blogging for some reason. And if you happen to be one of those attempt to get rich internet quick blogaholics as I have found myself in times past, it seems as if that latest Google page rank update the other day wants to send me in search of a fourth full time job. And so I thought to post that “Ode to Blogging” again that I came across somewhere in internetland during my internet time and have found myself posting on this blog every so often:

An Ode To Blogging(sung to the tune of “Mercedes Benz” by Janis Joplin)

Oh Google, won’t you give me a PageRank quickly?
My friends all have Adsense, but you banned me.
Blogged hard all my lifetime, trying to make money,
So Google, won’t you give me a PageRank quickly?

Oh Shoemoney , won’t give my blog a big plug?
I post every day, but never get Dugg.
I like how you’re bald, but don’t wear a rug,
So oh Shoemoney, won’t you give my blog a big plug?

Oh AGLOCO , won’t you give up your little green scam?
Your members flood my inbox with lots of spam.
You know that I’m not your biggest fan,
Oh AGLOCO, won’t you give up your little green scam?

Bloggers!
Oh Google, won’t you give me a PageRank quickly?
My friends all have Adsense, but you banned me.
Blogged hard all my lifetime, trying to make money,
So Google, won’t you give me a PageRank quickly?

Have a great blogging day.

That Ode to Blogging

And it is Sunday on this day according to that Gregorian Calendar that has rolled around again in this week. That day of rest, day of God, the Sabbath. Or is that Saturday. Hugh?

Hey bloggers, or anyone out there in internetland, I interrupt my blogaholicness to ask the question, “Where’s Pay Per Post?” Am I seeing things, am I delusional or is my computer broken at the moment, as every time I type in their website this “Cannot find server” message appears and their page seems to have disappeared. And I am trying to remain calm as I type this blog post, though in the back of mind I could possibly be thinking “Is there life after Pay Per Post and how can I keep up my blogaholicness without Pay Per Post?” And visions of running to the ends of the earth and finding twenty full time jobs to go along with it start running through my mind. Hey bloggers, where’s Pay Per Post, and Social Spark for that matters sake also, as their website seems to have disappeared in the past few minutes also. And without those websites, how can I maintain my blogaholicness? Hey Bloggers, where’s payperpost and how can I find them again, am I seeing things or is this computer broken? And maybe they will magically reappear in the next second after I finish typing this blog post. Have a great blogging day.

Social Spark Is Live

Hey Bloggers, SocialSpark is live. And if you happen to be one of those bloggers who are attempting to blog their way to riches, you may understand what that phrase means. SocialSpark is a Social Marketing Network that connects advertisers and bloggers through an online advertising marketplace. And I can not seem to say enough about Social Spark these days, as it is another one of those Pay Per Post and IZEA company websites. And Social Spark is as its names implies, one of those social media websites with a spark, and user can create sparks for their blogs at their website. And what’s different about this website is that one can interact and network with other bloggers, leave comments on their profiles, request other bloggers to be their friends on their profile and actually get paid for marketing opportunities and writing about products they like at the same time. What better way than to network and blog online than this. And I find myself visiting their website on a daily, hourly and minutely basis or at least as much as I can possible in my blogaholicness. And the colors and photos of everyones blogger profiles on their website are really cool and fun to look at. And one can also nominate and vote for their favorite blogs for their Bloggers Choice Awards 08. And that little sparky guy character on their page with the flame is hot. Social Spark rocks.

Rank This Blog?

Okay, so I find myself wondering again if I should keep singing that Ode To Blogging song as I have found myself singing so many times in the past. And I am not sure if I should continue singing it because I may be singing myself an Ode To Debt. As I was MyBlogLoging the other day, someones post caught my eye again. And this time their comment read, “Has your blog been effected by the Google page rank update?”. And so the story goes, I can no longer quit my day job as I once dreamed of and I may find myself looking for a fifth day job as a result of that Google page rank update the other day. Is this Armageddon, the end of the world. Is this the end of the web 2.0 user generated content pay you to blog blogger world, or at least the attempt to blah blog your way to riches world? Is the Internet broken now or something. Is there life thereafter the Internet, and what was life like before the invention of the Internet. I tried a couple of weeks ago to post that disclosure policy on this blog in an attempt to drive Dracula away from the door and I am not sure if that is working because now instead of that Google page rank of a thousand that I once dreamed of, this blog now has a Google page rank of negative one thousand. And should I continue to use the words “this is a sponsored post” or not, I am not sure. What do I say anymore in my attempt to blah blog my way to riches? Is this that Pluto or Saturn in action with that season of change thing again, and what kind of change is this world undergoing, if any. And what song do I sing now, as I am not so sure if I should keep singing that Ode To Blogging song I once sang before. Have a great blogging day.

An Ode To Blogging

Okay, so now I am not so sure if I want to keep singing that Ode To Blogging song anymore because maybe I may be singing my way into an ode of debt in my attempt to blah blog my way to riches. I have been singing about that Ode to blogging Google page rank thing for a while now, so much that instead of that Google page rank of a hundred that I dreamed of, I now find this blog having a Google page rank of a negative one hundred or something like that. Seems to be according to the tons of blog postings that I have read just today alone, that Google and the Google Gods may be putting everyone whose websites are attempting to advertise and link build their way to riches and search engine heaven out of a day job or something like that. And I have even placed one of those Disclosure Policies on this page in an attempt to drive Dracula away from the door. Where will I go to find that fourth day job now that this blogs page rank has decreased. An ode to blogging, I am not so sure if I want to sing that song anymore. Have a great blogging day.

Pay Per IZEA?

Hugh? Am I seeing things? There is an email sitting in my inbox with the title that reads “PayPerPost is Now IZEA”. Hugh? PayPerPost is what? Pay Per Post was or is the greatest name ever. Oh no! Will I ever be able to quit my day job now in my attempt to blah blog my way to riches. Will I have to get two day jobs now? And I have not even read the email for the title alone gets me going. The thought that Pay Per Post is now who? Does Pay Per Post mention what this newly found name is all about on their blog? As companies change their names all the times for whatever reasons. I should read their blog or that email now for further information on what this is about. Maybe this is all an illusion in the blogosphere. Or maybe I do not need to read it as they are still there blogging away as the kings, or as what I perceive as the kings of the pay per post blogging world. Or is kings a good word to use. Maybe leaders of the blogging world, or is leaders a good word to use. Maybe paid blogging companies is a better word to use. Well, whatever this newly found change of name is all about, Pay Per Post still rocks. Oh, I mean IZEA still rocks.

PostieCon Conference

And now for some reason, I have started to notice, conferences, conventions, and more conferences. The bloggerworld blogosphere seems to be spawning tons of different blogging related conferences now, maybe. How exciting. There seems to be a few blogger conventions coming up in Vegas, so many that between the Blog World Expo and PostieCon blog conference, one could just move to Vegas for the next few months and Vegas blog conference, convention, party and casino gamble away in between speakers and panel discussions. And good luck if that blogger conference is held in the same hotel with one of those casinos in the lobby. The following is an announcement for the Pay Per Post PostieCon conference in Vegas. Pay Per Post is the Hollywood of pay per post companies to me and I hear money falling out of the sky when I hear their name. Pay Per Post Rocks. Viva Las Vegas.

PostieCon ’07 is a one-day event that will be held November 10, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada. PostieCon Vegas is a one-of-a-kind blog conference hosted by PayPerPost™. The one-day conference will include targeted sessions focusing on helping bloggers market themselves and leverage the PayPerPost™ platform. Experienced bloggers will share their knowledge of how you can build traffic and readership, and how to effectively monetize your voice. Top PayPerPost™ earners and advertisers will share their successes in two unique sessions. CEO Ted Murphy will also lead a special session for PayPerPost™ advertisers. The day will end with a rockin’ party where winners of the Blogger’s Choice Awards will be recognized!
The most exciting news of all: PostieCon Vegas is FREE! Space is limited, though, so to ensure your spot you’ll need to register.
Some of PostieCon’s speakers are: David Ponce, Michelle Madhok, Shirley Frazier, Sherry Heyl, Jim Kukral, Kristie Tamsevicius, Lena West, and The Five Top Pay Per Post Earners. Wow! Holy Camoly. Now that’s cool. Blog on!

Blogging goes Mainstream

Has blogging gone mainstream? Or has blogging been mainstream for a while and I just haven’t realized it? Yesterdays New York Daily Newspaper had an article titled “Keep your job, make more money”. The article mentioned various freelance jobs such as babysitting, selling on eBay, freelance writing, and blogging as money making solutions that don’t require quitting your day job. It mentioned websites that pay people to blog reviews about products. Wow, I wanna try that! Reviewme.com, SponsoredReviews.com,and PayPerPost.com were websites and companies that were mentioned where the rates vary between $20.00 and $200.00 per review. Really? That much? Is it really that easy to generate some revenue? Where can I find these companies? I would like to quit my day job now and start blogging for bucks.
