Congregation Segregation Again

Hey again bloggers, or whoever could be reading this blog. And even though on this day finds itself as Occupy Wall Street Day 146. And those global revolutions of a movement of Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together are still moving fast, this blagh post seems to be about church, you know that holy place where one finds God, I think. And somehow I came across a conversation about finding a church to get baptized so one can be saved and not die and go to hell or something like that. And in that quest to find one of those baptize me and save me so I don’t die and go to hell churches it was discovered that one must be a member of a church to get baptized. Hugh? What’s up with that. A church bureaucratic loop? Church red tape? The one place that I would think would be inclusive and welcome all is exclusive with hoops to jump through. And so in that quest to find a church that would baptize non members it was discovered that there are no churches that baptize non members. And even if one is a member of that church, one must go to church classes before one gets baptized. Hugh? More church red tape? Does that internet bible Wikipedia have an answer for this? Has this be a member of a church to get baptized thing always been like this? Does one have to wander the earth the rest of ones days non baptized potentially burning in hell for the sake of not being a member of someones church. And so those find a church somewhere on planet earth that will baptize non members thoughts has me wanting to repost that Congregation Segregation blog post that was posted on this blog and my other blog some time a while ago in an attempt to maintain content for this blog whenever web 2.0 social media user generated content possible.

Easter must be coming up soon because the stores are filled with chocolate bunnies everywhere. And This Holy Week thing is making me wonder, are churches the most segregated places on planet earth? I just realized that every time I want to go to church I have to find a church mass, communion and religious worship service for my “Demonination” my nationality. For what reason can’t all churches welcome everyone regardless of your race, color or creed. The one place where one goes to find God and be free is not free, it’s segregated by nationality and denominations. It’s either all Christian, all Protestant, all Jewish, all Episcopalian, all Catholic, all Muslim, all Buddhist or all something else.
This Tower of Babel confusion of the languages, cultures and nations thing has got me confused.
And what if I want to go to church with someone who is not my nationality? We’d have to look around really hard to find a church that would accept both of our nationalities. I do believe there are some free, liberal, multicultural and diverse churches who welcome everyone such as Interfaith, Unitarian and Universalist churches who approach faith, religion and spirituality in a non traditional, creedless and non dogmatic way and have no creedal requirements imposed on their members. Times Square Church in Manhattan is an example of this. But for the most part, churches have always remained segregated.
I am losing faith in the churches for this reason, they seem Saint Hypocritical and Saint Elitist in their God loves you for who you are speeches. Where can I go to find God and not be judged by the color of my skin? Should I just become an Atheist? Happy Easter.

Buddha

And somehow I came across that photo of the Buddha that finds itself posted above throughout my internet travels on this day. And that buddha seems to be a cool looking spiritual, yoga, nirvana image indeed, or something like that. And that caption that came with that photo described itself as “The Tiantan Buddha on Lantau Island is the largest seated bronze Buddha in the world. Freedom of religion is one of the basic rights enjoyed by the people of Hong Kong, protected by the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China and related laws.” And that photo above seems to Buddha, buddhism, hindu, meditation, peace, ohm shanti, Siddhārtha Gautama speak for itself. A Symbol

And somehow I came across this posting about swastikas throughout my internet travels in facebookland on this day. And I think that some people aren’t aware that the swastika originates from a Hindu symbol, the Fylfot Cross. And the swastika is simply the Hindu, Himalayan and Brhamanist symbol for the wheel of life. the Nazis turned it around. The swastika can have many different meanings (the sun, the four directions, changes in the seasons, peace, and others, including Native American, Hindu, Buddhist, Celtic and Pagan traditions. And so I thought to post some of what that Symbol Dictionary website says in my attempt to maintain content for this blog and my other blog whenever web 2.0 social media user generated content blaghers block possible. The swastika is an archetypal, universal human religious symbol. It appears on every continent and is as old as humankind. A marker of the sun’s travels, it can be seen on Pictish rock carvings, adorning ancient Greek pottery, and on ancient Norse weapons and implements. It was scratched onto cave walls in France seven thousand years ago. A swastika marks the beginning of many Buddhist scriptures, and is often incised on the soles of the feet of the Buddha in statuary. In the Jain religion, the swastika is a symbol of the seventh Jina (Saint), the Tirthankara Suparsva. To Native Americans, the swastika is a symbol of the sun, the four directions, and the four seasons.

Geometrically, the swastika is a type of solar cross, with arms bent at right angles, suggesting a whirling or turning motion. Long before the symbol was co-opted as an emblem of Hitler’s Nazi party, it was a sacred symbol to Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist religions, as well as in Norse, Basque, Baltic, and Celtic Paganism. The name Swastika is derived from the Sanskrit language, from “su,” meaning “good,” and “vasti”,” meaning “being” (together; well being) In India, it is used as a fertility and good luck charm. The right turning Indian swastika symbolizes the sun and positive energy, and is most commonly associated with the deity Ganesh, a God of prosperity and wealth. Some Indians regard an anti-clockwise swastika as an opposing, dark force- a symbol of the godess Kali. Together, the two can be regarded as symbolically similar to the Yin Yang symbol of Taoism, or the two Pillars of Kabbalah. The swastika is also known for its uses in heraldry as the tetraskelion- the fylfot cross (fylfot meaning ‘four feet,’ a term used in european heraldry), the cross gammadion (because it resembles four greek letter ‘gammas.’), and the hakenkreutz (German, hooked cross).

The swastika used in Buddhist art and scripture is known as a Manji, and represents Dharma, universal harmony, and the balance of opposites. When facing left, it is the Omote (front) Manji, representing love and mercy. Facing right, it represents strength and intelligence, and is called the Ura (rear facing) Omoje. Balanced Manji are often found at the beginning and end of buddhist scriptures. You can read more about Manji here. In pre-Christian Pagan Europe, the swastika was generally a solar symbol, but in many cases, its use dates so far back in history that its original meaning is obscured. In Baltic regions, the swastika is sometimes called the “thunder cross,” and is associated with the Thunder God Perkons (Perkunis):

The Beast Again

Okay, it’s not exactly that holiday of Halloween as I look at that Gregorian calendar on wall. It’s just that this is yet another one of those recycle this blog posts in an attempt to maintain content for this blog and my other blog whenever blaghers block possible.

Abracadabra! Open sesame! Fire, Earth, Air, Water, Metal, Wood. It is still Halloween today. And this day could be a blessing or a curse, as that is what the word abracadabra means according to that Internet dictionary Wikipedia. “Avracadabra” is derived from the Hebrew, ha-brachah, meaning “the blessing” and dabra, an Aramaic form of the Hebrew word dever, meaning “pestilence”. And it is also the origin of the name of that fat bellied demon Abraxas, a Gnostic word for God which was thought to be a spell of great power. His name adds up to exactly 365, whatever that could mean. And it is magic and occult. And for what reason does that triangle photo placed in this blog entry look like half of a pentagram, I am not sure. And today is that scary, supernatural and mystical time of year when the devil, Satan, Christ and the spirits of the dead come to town. When Pan and the Grim Reaper awakes and witchcraft, witches, gargoyles and Gothics come out to play and when one gets to masquerade and play dress up for whoever they want to be. And in a change of topic that comes to mind, I am thinking of that great beast in Revelations, as those California wildfires are still burning and they are reminding me of Armageddon or the apocalypse or something enough to make me think it is the beginning of the end. Or maybe it is just global warming or mother nature. And I also seem to be running out of things to blah blog about these days again. And so those religious thoughts come to mind again as I ask myself, who or what is that beast that is to be found in the Book of Revelations. Who or what is this beast that seems to have its grip on mankind and the world and will not let go in the seemingly endless amount of atrocities that happen on a daily basis in the world these days that are too innumerable to mention with no end in sight. Who or what does the beast represent? Is it that beast that Babylon sits on that I posted about a few postings ago. And when I think of the beast, more thoughts come to mind; Babylon, confusion, the anti Christ, technology, the microprocessor, a cashless society, the Middle East, the European Union, globalism, security, terrorism, nuclear energy, national I.D’s, the collapse of morality, trials and tribulations, wars and rumors of wars and Satan ruling the world etc;. Are these some of the top ten prophecy signs of the beginning of the end. And again when I think of the beast I think of gun violence and glory, the worst invention of an industry ever, and all of the things that kill man, man made or nature; wars, famine, disease, plagues, wild beasts, and save no man that he may buy or sell except that he has the mark of the beast upon his forehead, or is that his right hand, for it is the number of a man, 666. Whatever that means. And who are those beasts full of eyes, and those horses that are to be found in Revelations. That could be a whole another blog posting. And much like the verse of Babylon, there is a wealth of information to be interpreted. And so to make this blog posting an even longer posting to read and possibly the longest posting I have posted yet.., I am posting that all to familiar verse to be found in the book of Revelations. 2012: A Time For Change

Hey again bloggers, or whoever could be reading this blog. And even though on this day finds itself that holy day of Halloween where I may find myself watching that band Underground Horns marching up the Avenue of the Americas in the 39th Annual Village Halloween Parade in that city of New York on this day, I somehow find myself blogging, or posting another one of those recycle this blog posts that was posted on this blog some time a while ago for that 2012: a time for change, Theater for the New City Village Halloween Costume Ball 2011 photo that finds itself posted above in an attempt to maintain content for this blagh whenever web 2.0 social media user generated content blaghers block possible. And that 2012 recycle this blog posts that was posted on this blog sometime a while ago reads something like as follows. And in other thoughts, “Seen on facebook – Occupy The Streets. Occupy The World 11/11/11 11:11:11. Seen elsewhere – “11:11 is timeless. it has no beginning, it has no end” the 11th hour. an awakening. an ascension. occupy the world on armistice day.” Happy All Hallows Eve.

Okay, and so this is yet another one of those recycle this blog posts that was posted on this blog sometime a while ago in an attempt to maintain content for this blagh whenever possible because hey, it’s less writing sometimes. I think.

Now this is an interesting story. As I was getting my daily dose of world news today of all the daily atrocities of the world that are too innumerable to mention, enough cacophony and anomaly of atrocities on a daily basis to make me think that is the beginning of the end and then to turn off the news and pretend that none of the horrible news of the day stories exists in this information overload technological world we live in these days, I came across this headline: “Russians Wait For The End Of The World”. Hugh? Gog and Magog, what does it mean? And now my Armageddon, Apocalyptic, religious fanaticism thoughts start coming to mind again. Is this one of those top ten prophetic signs of the end of the world? Are Doomsday, Nostradamus, the Anti Christ, Jesus, World War III and the apocalypse on their way now? And this article went on to say something about that these people see the commercialization of the church, tax identification numbers and passports as the apocalyptic sign of the beast and do not go to school, watch television, listen to radio or handle money. They believe in spiritual and moral education. Now that’s interesting. Are these people the chosen ones? Who is to decide what is normal and what is not. This is yet one more story to be followed in the news today and tomorrow. And with that thought in mind, what’s that “Leonid meteor shower to peak this weekend” thing all about? How will the satellites fare in the sky? Will stars and angels fall out of the sky? Is this the dragon, that serpent of the sky whose seven heads and tail cast stars to the earth in Revelations or something? Is that constellation of shooting stars and angels going to be cast down to earth during that war in heaven? Is this a sign of the coming of the Messiah? Is Babylon falling? Is that some prophecy sign in heaven written in the stars also. Did Nostradamus predict this comet also? What exactly does that Leonid meteor shower mean, anything? Now maybe about this leonid meteor shower being a heavenly sign thing that I just came across, I may have been on the computer too long today and maybe it is time for me to turn it off and pretend I do not read the news in my religious and now astrological fanaticism. Does this Leonid meteor shower thing have to to do with that Pluto now being in Sagittarius galactic core season of change thing I wrote about a few blog postings ago? And what kind of season of change does this mean? According to that Leonid Meteor site above, Saturn the Great Millennial Sabbath, the Messianic planet and the grim reaper and his sickle may be near, if you believe.:

Now that’s really interesting. And if it is the beginning of the end, will there is a tomorrow to follow this story. No one is free while others are oppressed. Is another world possible? What does this all mean? Lo and behold the yoga guy in the photo above. The yoga guy depicts the progression of humanity. And here is one of many secrets about the yoga guy above. A-L=12, halfway through the alphabet, O-Z=12, halfway through the alphabet. ALOZ, ALLAH. 12.21.2012, 0102. OLOZ, AL-OZ, ALOZ, ALLAH. M and N the middle of the alphabet = the Millennium, the head of Christ, Grist, the Holy Grail, The Holy Ghost, a thousand years shall Satan be let loose? (Yahweh,Yeshua,Jehovah,JHVH,YHVH,YHWH, YOGA), part of the trinity. Watch and be ready. If you believe. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

Babylon The Great

And so this is yet another one of those recycle this blog posts that found itself on this blog some time a while ago.

For some reason, Babylon the great whore came to my mind in that last posting I posted. And that leads me to thinking. Is Babylon the Great harlot and mother of all whores to be found in Revelations the Statue of Liberty? Does she represent the Statue of Liberty and the City of New York, the great Empire State, to be found in America. Sometimes I wonder. I sometimes wonder with the similarities that are to be found between the two. As the two are great cities that sit on top of many waters with seven heads and ten horns on their head sitting on top of a great beast on seven mountains over many waters, nations and tongues holding gold cups in their hands on top of a great beast that turns against itself and burns her with fire and the great merchants of the earth who had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness and who brought all of her great merchandise, the merchandise of gold and silver and fine linen etc stand a far off for the fear of her burning etc;. There’s a whole lot of figurative speech and a wealth of meaning to be found in this passage and verse. What do these two great women represent? What doe this passage mean and what does it represent. Mystery, Babylon The Great to be found in prophecy if you believe. Babylon arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, Ancient Babylon, The Tower of Babel, Baal, Babylonia, the great empire, that great city in the Middle East or somewhere on planet earth. Who is that great city. Confusion, trials and tribulations. Is she falling. And who and what is God. Is there a God? And what is that Mene Mene Tekel code and the handwriting on the wall I just came across. Is that a whole another blog posting? I could blah blog about this all day long and so I guess to sum it up, I am reposting that all too familiar verse from the book of Revelations as follows:

The Fall of Babylon

And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. One Solitary Life

And being that on this day still finds itself Sunday, that day of the sun, I guess this following post that found itself posted on this blog some time a while ago may be an appropriate post to post on this blog on this blogging day.

Jesus Christ. What can I say about the following passage about Jesus. Again, it is one of those emails that was passed along from a friend who passed it along to another friend, who passed it along to another friend and so on and so on and so on. And I find it interesting. Maybe now could be a good time to repost it as it is the Christmas holiday season approaching and Jesus is the reason for the season

He grew up in still another village, where he worked

in a carpenter’s shop until he was thirty. Then for

three years he was an itinerant preacher.

He never wrote a book. He never held an office. He

never had a family or owned a house. He did not go to

college. He never visited a big city. He never

traveled two hundred miles from the place where he was

born. He did none of the things one usually associates

with greatness.

He had no credentials but himself.

He was only thirty-three when the tide of public

opinion turned against him. His friends ran away. He

was turned over to his enemies and went through the

mockery of a trial. He was nailed to a cross between

two thieves. While he was dying, his executioners

gambled for his clothing, the only property he had on

earth. When he was dead, he was laid in a borrowed

grave through the pity of a friend.

Nineteen centuries have come and gone, and today he

remains the central figure of the human race, and the

leader of mankind’s progress. All the armies that ever

marched, all the navies that ever sailed, all

parliaments that ever sat, all the kings that ever

reigned, put together, have not affected the life of

man on this planet so much as that one solitary life

The Prophecy of John of Jerusalem VII

Hey again bloggers, or whoever could be reading this blog. And it’s been a blogger while since I posted one of those Temple Mount of Jerusalem that also wants to be the Dome of the Rock photos as in that photo above. And being that all eyes are on Egypt, Israel, Jerusalem, the middle east, and even Jesus himself these headline news days and web 2.0, social media, user generated content times, those religious thoughts come to mind. And so I thought to continue to post another excerpt from “The Prophecy of John of Jerusalem” on this blog in an attempt to maintain content for this blog and my other blog whenever possible.

The birth pains increase and the blind multiply.

For the blind cannot see, no matter if Jesus stands right in front of them.

Surely Lord, is there even more to save?
When they only scoff and mock and are filled with evil thoughts?

Surely Lord, you know the hearts of men.
Is there left any man still that can be called to you Lord?

In Jesus Christ.

A Thousand Years
The Prophecy of John of Jerusalem

When the Year Thousand that comes after Year Thousand begins
Men will know how to make mirages live
The senses will be deceived and they will believe they are touching that which is not
They will follow paths which are seen only by the eyes
And in this way dreams will be able to come alive.

But man will no longer know how to separate
That which is from that which is not
He will be lost inside false labyrinths
Those who will know how to make the mirages live
Will take advantage of the naive man by deceiving him
And a lot of men will become grovelling dogs.

When the Year Thousand that comes after Year Thousand begins
The animals which Noah had embarked on his Ark
Will be no more in Man’s hands
Than beasts transformed according to his will
And who will worry about their lifetime of suffering?

Man will have made each species into what he wanted
And he will have destroyed numerous ones
What will the man have become who will have changed the laws of life
Who will have made the living animal a piece of clay
Will he be the equal of God or the child of the Devil?

When the Year Thousand that comes after Year Thousand begins
You must be afraid for the child of man
Poison and despair will lie in wait for him
He will be desired only selfishly and not for his own sake or for the world
He will be tracked down for sexual pleasure and sometimes his body will be sold.

But even the one being protected by his family
Will be in danger of having a dead mind
He will live inside games and mirages
Which will guide him because there will be no more educators
No-one will have taught him to hope and how to act.

When the Year Thousand that comes after Year Thousand begins
Man will think that he is God when he will be nothing more than a baby
He will hit out, always overcome by anger and jealousy,
But he will be armed with the power that he has taken
And blind Prometheus he will be able to destroy everything around him.

He will remain a dwarf of the soul and he will have the strength of a giant
He will take enormous strides forward but he will not know which road to take
His head will be heavy with knowledge
But he will not know why he lives and dies
He will be like the fire always gesticulating or the child who whimpers.

When the Year Thousand that comes after Year Thousand begins
Whole regions will be prey to war
Beyond the Roman limes and even on the former territory of the Empire, men of same cities will cut each others throats
Here it will be war between tribes and there between religious believers.

The Jews and the children of Allah will unendingly oppose each other
And the land of Christ will be their battlefield
But the infidels will want to defend the purety of their faith everywhere
And opposite them will be only doubt and power
Then death will advance everywhere like the flag of the new times

When the Year Thousand that comes after Year Thousand begins
A multitude of men will be excluded from human life
They will have neither rights, nor roof, nor bread,
They will be naked and will have only their bodies to sell
They will be pushed far away from the opulent towers of Babel.

They will swarm like a remorse and a menace
They will occupy entire regions and will proliferate
They will listen to the preachings of vengeance
And they will launch an attack on the proud towers
The time of barbaric invasions will have come

A Thousand Years
The Prophecy of John of Jerusalem

When the Year Thousand that comes after Year Thousand begins
A lot of men will remain seated with their arms crossed
Or will wander without knowing where, with glazed eyes
For they will no longer have a forge to beat metal
And no field to cultivate

They will be like a seed which cannot take root
Roaming around and owning nothing, humiliated and desperate
The youngest and the oldest often homeless
They will have only war to save them
And they will start by fighting themselves
And they will hate their lives.

When the Year Thousand that comes after Year Thousand begins
Illnesses from the water from the sky and from the earth
Will attack man and endanger him
He will want to revive that which he has destroyed
And protect that which remains
He will be afraid of the days to come.

But it will be very late
The desert will swallow up the land
And water will be deeper and deeper
It will flow some days
Taking everything like a flood
And the next day there won’t be enough for the land
And the air will eat away the bodies of the weakest.

When the Year Thousand that comes after Year Thousand begins
The earth will quake in several places
And the cities will fall down
Everything that will have been built without heeding the wise ones
Will be endangered and destroyed
Mud will submerge towns
And the ground will open under the Palaces.

Man will persist for his pride is his folly
He will not heed the repeated warnings of the earth
But fire will destroy the new Romes
And in the accumulated ruins
The poor and the lawless will loot in spite of the Legions
The abandoned riches

When the Year Thousand that comes after Year Thousand begins
The sun will burn the earth
The Air will no longer be a veil which protects from the fire
It will be only a curtain with holes
And the burning light will eat away skins and eyes.

The sea will rise like boiling water
Cities and seasides will be covered
And entire continents will disappear
Men will take refuge on the heights
And they will rebuild already forgetting that which has happened.
