This Ode To Blogging

And for some reason I find myself posting that ode to blogging sometimes when I can not figure out what to blah blog about. And that seems like one of those timeless odes. And in other thoughts, I was watching Channel Thirteen the other day, that public broadcasting channel that seems to be the only educational channel to watch on television these days here in this Country in America. And there was a nature program on that was saying something about Australia has a drought problem, its ozone is the worst in the world and that no other continent burns as drastically as Australia. And does this say anything about global warming and helping to save planet mother earth. And among other things on this program, those palm cockatoo parrots seemed to be the most beautiful and intelligent birds. And in other thoughts again, here is that ode to blogging:

An Ode To Blogging(sung to the tune of “Mercedes Benz” by Janis Joplin)

Oh Google, won’t you give me a PageRank quickly?
My friends all have Adsense, but you banned me.
Blogged hard all my lifetime, trying to make money,
So Google, won’t you give me a PageRank quickly?

Oh Shoemoney , won’t give my blog a big plug?
I post every day, but never get Dugg.
I like how you’re bald, but don’t wear a rug,
So oh Shoemoney, won’t you give my blog a big plug?

Oh AGLOCO , won’t you give up your little green scam?
Your members flood my inbox with lots of spam.
You know that I’m not your biggest fan,
Oh AGLOCO, won’t you give up your little green scam?

Bloggers!
Oh Google, won’t you give me a PageRank quickly?
My friends all have Adsense, but you banned me.
Blogged hard all my lifetime, trying to make money,
So Google, won’t you give me a PageRank quickly?

Have a great blogging day.

And yet I still find myself blah blogging away on this computer for some reason. Abracadabra! And I picked up this flyer the other day at some store in that City of New York, that’s all neon orange and black, the colors of Halloween I guess. And this flyer reads something like: Times Up. “Halloween Party Bike Ride”. Wear a costume, Williamsburg Bridge, Brooklyn Side, meet at 8:30, Friday, October 31. Halloween After Party at the Surreal Estate, 15 Thames St. near the Morgan L stop in Brooklyn. The Drumadics

And somehow I found myself commenting today on the Drumadics page “Hey Drumadics, I’ll be playing buckets today at 42nd Street Times Square if you want to come by and check me out”, as if it is some sort of New York City subway musician battle of the bucket bands or something. Though I really do not think I will be playing buckets today at 42nd Street times Square. And that CMJ Music Festival must be happening soon. I know because The Village Voice , New York Press , L Magazine and a bunch of other publications says so. And as usual this CMJ music event seems as if it is the end all to be all of the music world when it comes to all indie rock music and more. And some of the scheduled performers for this years CMJ Music Marathon are:

gun violence

This World

And every so often I find myself blogging about guns and gun violence, so much that I can repost those blog entries over and over in my appeal to end gun violence. And what would that National Rifle Association and Mayors Against Gun Violence have to say about this. Does Wikipedia have an entry for this. And guns have become so much a part of pop culture that is seems scary. If only guns can be banished from all forms of advertising, media, news and marketing campaigns. It seems as if every other advertisement whether it be a commercial, film, television or print, has an image of a gun in it. And it is scary. If only images of gun violence can be banished from video games, toys, clothing and every thing else pop culture. Is it Kali Yuga and the iron age descending. Is there hope for the world, society, its values and morals. And guns are the worst invention of a death industry ever. And for what reason does that word patriot have the word riot in it, and what does parens patraie, father of our country mean, as I think this word is what involuntary slavery and servitude is based on, maybe, the idea that the state owns an individual. A man is born free but he is in chains, I read somewhere. And does that internet bible dictionary Wikipedia have an entry for this phrase. You see, when you have a gun you usually use it on someone else or yourself, and that is the hazards of having a gun, and this results in the seemingly endless amount of headlines that are generated on a daily basis of another person loses their life to gun violence with no end in sight. And there was a photo of someone holding a sign in the other days paper that read “guns, lipstick and glory” the other day at one of those election rallies. And does this sign advocate gun violence. I am only one voice, one blogger. No one is free when others are oppressed. Is another world possible. Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

Going Out Of Business?

And I am starting to wonder again about those 777, 733, 666, 999 and all things Armageddon and apocalyptic, 2012 on track things when I start reading those New York Wall Street Stock Exchange Dow Jones numbers headlines that have been in the news lately. And I find myself reading so many end of the world globalization, governmentation, nationalism of the banking industry and the new world order of the new world conspiracy theory websites that I find myself wondering to hide out under a rock or something. And then those religious fanaticism thoughts start arising. And is Wall Street having one of those going out of business everything must go sales during the same month that the presiding elections of that country of America happen to be taking place? Will everyone be in the soup kitchen lines now. Will there be no shopping for Christmas or any other day now. What would Nostradamus, Aleister Crowley, some astrologer, guru and that Internet bible dictionary Wikipedia have to say about this. Is the Antichrist here or near. Is it doomsday yet. Is the recession depression here yet. Is there some prophecy for this. Is there an entry for this. What does this all mean? And for some reason that verse arises to me again: “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows”. Have a great some sort of day.
