And that SXSW 2008 schedule for who is playing there this year is finally available. That annual music festival for indie rock and more seems like it is finally near, or at least finally here. That South By Southwest film, music and conference festival seems as if it has become one of those end all to be all festivals of the year and it rocks. And there is music sessions and more sessions, and keynote speakers and more speakers, panels, conferences, exhibitions, parties, and more parties to be found there during this week. And there are usually a zillion and more bands and musicians from all over the place that perform at this festival over a weeks time. This years festival takes place March 7th-16th in Downtown Austin, Texas and is one of those events that is just worth checking out, as it is all music all the time. And I decided to post the bands that are playing from the New York City area this year, mostly from the Brooklyn and Manhattan area because hey, that is where I am at at the moment.
