Akim Funk Buddah is Back! So that is what he says in his email that he sent. And from what I remember, he has always been around. This is another one of those emails that I receive every so often that I find interesting to repost because hey, it’s less writing sometimes in my attempt to maintain this blog when I am trying to figure out what to blah blog about. And Akim’s shows are the coolest, the trippiest and rock like nothing you have ever seen before. So again, if you are in the neighborhood of the New York City area, this event may be worth checking out. Happy Thanksgiving, remember the Indians, their beads and trinkets, that twenty four dollars and the land of Manna-hatin, and eat more tofurkey.

Its been a long time – sorry I left you with no dope show to come to, been beat boxing through the stars with violinist DBR and moving through the galexcys zones with Bill T Jones. Now its time to re evokes the vibes in the underworld homes, take a moment everyday to be still and silent and hear the music in your chromosomes. Movers Shakers,Poppers Lockers,Tappers beat boxers,Singers and chanters,these are a few of my favorite things. So come out now,don’t be scerd now, lets make memorize, because we about to create a show at BAM that’s legendary. And it’s FREE! So bring out your friends, family and even the babies.

Also after winning the Fringe festival for best choreography. Akim is amped- look out for his next theatrical run the first 2 weeks of January at the legendary La mama theater.
